- Courchevel is part of the Three Valleys, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world, but kids don't need all of it. I pick lodging near our ski school meeting point so mornings are easy.
- Avoid French school holiday weeks in February and early March if you can. January and late March usually have more room on the slopes and in ski school.
- Most families fly into Geneva and transfer by car, which takes a few hours depending on snow and traffic. Book a private transfer with car seats for little ones, and keep snacks handy for the switchbacks.
