Palm Beach packing list for families

Palm Beach is a beach trip with a dress code, so the bags need both sandy play clothes and something nice for dinner. Here is how I pack a family for the island, from winter season to summer storms.

Kristina's notes on Palm Beach, Florida

  1. Palm Beach dresses up more than most Florida beach towns. I pack one nice outfit per child for dinners and a Worth Avenue walk, and the rest is easy swim and play clothes.
  2. The Atlantic here can have strong waves and rip currents. For little ones, I plan pool mornings and save the ocean for calm days at a guarded beach.
  3. Winter is peak season, so book dinner reservations and kids' club spots early for holiday and spring break weeks.
